World-renowned monk and scholar, Venerable Bhikku Bodhi, will present a lecture on the “ten ways of planting wholesome roots” based on the Pali Buddhist tradition.
The Buddha emphasized not only the practice of intensive meditation but also the cultivation of wholesome qualities in all their rich variety. Just as a tree is held in the ground by its roots and grows toward the sky, so these wholesome qualities firmly ground the mind and allow it to grow toward the sky of liberation. In this talk Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi will explain the “ten ways of planting wholesome roots” based on the Pali Buddhist tradition.
