Directed by Lee Stipe, this Bill Robbens spoof of old western movies offers lots of gun-slinging, hilarious antics, and the necessary noble heroics. The basic idea: the railroad is coming to town and a local villain, Diego Sanchez, has become sheriff and expects everybody to bow to its iron needs. “Rio Hondo” runs at the Allen Garcia Auditorium Willits High School from June 22 to July 7, with shows on Thursday at 7pm for $15, Friday and Saturday at 8pm for $20, and Sunday matinees at 2pm for $15. For students with ID, $10 discount tickets will be available at the door. There is a special first Sunday matinee on June 24 at 2pm and no final Sunday matinee on July 8 in the closing week.
