An black & white film photography exhibit exploring youth culture on Calpella Street in the mid-90s.
Photographer Ona Rynearson spent several years documenting the teenagers who frequented Calpella and originally focused on portraits calling them Faces of Calpella. Returning to Calpella pulls back to place and time, revealing what Calpella looked and felt like.
The show can be found at Valerie, 10546 Lansing Street in Mendocino back gallery from March 8th to April 10th, with an opening reception March 9th from 5pm to 7pm.
