Exhibit of the Mexican textiles from Pacific Textile Arts’ Study Collection, with docent tours offered.
Pacific Textile Arts maintains an extensive collection of historical and ethnic textiles as part of our educational mission. The Gallery features a display of the textiles of a country or culture at times during the year.
The month of May will feature the textiles of Mexico, with free tours led by the curator of the collection, Lolli Jacobsen. She will walk you through the exhibit, explaining the provenance, purpose, cultural significance, construction, etc. of each piece.
