Mar 16 - 17 2024
March Concert: Musical Journeys

Andrew Sords - violinist

Transport yourself to exotic places with these underperformed masterworks that highlight the orchestra.

Violinist Andrew Sords tackles Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy featuring virtuosic folk songs over the orchestra’s impressionistic landscape. Bendix contrasts lush melodies and contemplative moods, with fiery dances and driving rhythms in his masterful Symphony No. 3. Finally, watch the skill and artistry of the SOR orchestra in the exciting and celebratory Polovistian Dances! This rousing concert ends with an exciting flourish to our season and beyond!
