First Friday Art Walk & Book Sale

On Friday, August 2^nd from 5:00-7:00 pm, the Mendocino County Library, Ukiah Branch is hosting Art Walk Ukiah, Surroundings: Local Quilt Artists’ Exhibit.

Ukiah Library is proud to present this annual summer exhibit of quilts by two local quilt groups, the Mendocino Quilt Artists and the Rag Tag Quilters.  This exhibit showcases the immense talent and diversity of quilt styles by local artists.

Visitors to the library can create a Paper Quilt Square that will be combined with other participants quilt squares to create a community quilt.  Browse the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library’s book sale and enjoy the captivating voice of singer/guitarist Sheridan Malone.  Yummy refreshments will be provided.

This event is for all ages, is free to the public and sponsored by the Mendocino county Library and the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library.
