Chris Hagie & Joey Kraus at Edgewater Gallery

In good tradition, Edgewater Gallery starts each month with a First Friday celebration of the Featured Artist for that month.

Artist Chris Hagie, who has been an essential part of the gallery for many years, is opening her exhibition with current works on her brilliant abstract mixed media art.

Hagie: ”My mixed media abstract pieces illustrate the essence of visual sensation. That is, I am not creating a mood, emotion, or object, but I am drawn to the visual elements of these concepts. I create pieces that make my eyes smile, and in turn influence a mood or feeling.”

Edgewater Gallery also welcomes back Joey Kraus to show his unique small-scale works of art. Although his medium is paper, the pieces give the appearance of copper, created by the artist’s use of a special process of his invention.

Edgewater Gallery is an artist collective currently celebrating our 21st year in business. The gallery is always staffed by one of the artists and we welcome you to come in, meet one of us, and talk about what we’ve created. We have a selection of works that include painting, photography, ceramics, wood bowls and tables and mixed media works.
