Do you have any questions, photos, or artifacts related to local history for which you are seeking more information? On Saturday, January 27th, the Fort Bragg-Mendocino Coast Historical Society will again offer a unique opportunity to coastal residents to have those questions addressed by experts in the field of local history.
The “Ask An Historian” event will be held at the Guest House Museum from 2 – 4 pm. Historians Sylvia Bartley, Kevin Bunker and David Maki will be on hand to field your questions, pore over your documents, and identify your photographs. There will be a digital scanner available at the event, if you are willing to share your photographs and other items.
If you are a collector of items related to local history and have wondered about sharing your collection with a wider audience, please consider bringing some of your collection to the event. The historians will be happy to discuss with you the possibility of an exhibit of those items at a future date at the Guest House Museum.
The Guest House Museum is located at 343 No. Main St in Fort Bragg. Hours of operation are Friday through Sunday, 11 – 2.
