American Craft Week Open Studio event in Anderson Valley featuring jewelry and printmaking.

Colleen and Marvin Schenck will show new Jewelry, block prints, collage works, and paintings in an open studio event celebrating American Craft Week at their Barn Studio at 3400 Clark Rd., just off Hwy.128, five minutes west of Philo.

Colleen Schenck primarily creates jewelry and small metal sculptures. The use of precious with non-precious metals reflects her love of metals, their colors and the seductive nature of their surfaces. Certain types of images have become a part of her personal visual language. Architectural forms frame animal shapes, archetypal motifs, and stylized leaves.
