Open Art Studio

The Open Art Studio is set to be a dynamic and inspiring space that provides high schoolers with access to high-quality materials and hands-on workshops led by experienced artist educators. It will be a place where the student community comes together to explore, learn, and celebrate the arts. Our vision is to inspire self-expression, promote artistic growth, and connect people through the shared language of creativity. This project is taking shape with the support and collaboration of the Mendocino Coast Clinic Blue Door Teen Center and Mendocino County Youth Project.

Located adjacent to the Fort Bragg high school, at the JD center, the studio will be open Thursday afternoons from 3-6 PM. 

This initiative aims to bring the transformative power of art to our local youth. In this welcoming environment, students will have the opportunity to explore various artistic outlets, guided by professionals. Hosting visual arts, theater, drumming, dance and more, the studio will offer a rich array of creative practices to choose from.
