This brass quintet will perform music of contemporary composers as well as a new arrangement of music from the English Renaissance.
Tamalpais Brass sounds like the beautiful mountain in Marin that is it’s namesake: wondrous and enticing, elusive but calming, grounding and soaring. They are a brass quintet that pushes the limits of their abilities, and likes to bring audiences along for the ride. Their unique program will feature, among other works, Anthony DiLorenzo’s blazing “Fire Dance”, Andrea Tarrodi’s impressionistic “Fragments from the Royal Fireworks”, and a brand new arrangement of music from the English Renaissance.
