Solar Eco Cruise

Christened Solar Wind, Catch a Canoe’s latest boat is like nothing else in the world today. Sporting three distinct modes of propulsion, this ultra stable 9 person outrigger uses wind, solar electric & easy going human power to effortlessly cruise along Mendocino’s beautiful Big River Estuary. Harbor seals, river otters, and a wide variety of bird life are often seen as your experienced and knowledgeable guide maneuvers up river, 4 miles. Unaffected by tide, sail east with a tailwind, paddle at your leisure, then return refreshed with a solar electric assist!

Tours last about 2.5 hours and leave daily from the Catch a Canoe dock at 11:30am.
