anne-beckAnne Beck is an internationally exhibited visual artist working collaboratively & independently in a variety of media from painting to print & book making to public installation. After 11 years in New York & 5 years working in the film & television industry, Anne relocated to Mendocino County, where she was co-founder & co-director of Lost Coast Culture Machine, which was a culture-space & handmade paper mill focusing on interdisciplinary & sustainable creative practice.

Anne has received fellowship awards from the Virginia Center of Creative Arts, Vermont Studio Center, Can Serrat in El Bruc, Spain, and Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf, Germany, and was Barstow Artist-in-Residence at Central Michigan University. She holds an MFA in painting from Pratt Institute & a BA in printmaking & art history from the University of Virginia.
