The Arts Council of Mendocino County promotes the arts and cultivates creativity to benefit and enrich the lives of residents and visitors.

Objectives include expanding opportunities for artists and arts organizations, supporting art education, promoting the role of the arts in the local economy and increasing public awareness of the value of the arts.

We support and promote the arts throughout Mendocino County, and we advocate for artists and arts organizations with government, business, and tourism leaders.

ACMC celebrates multi-cultural art, music, dance and food from Mendocino County’s children, artists, and residents to share and increase public awareness of one another’s cultural values, visibility, diversity and beauty.

Support opportunities for all artists (visual, performing, literary, craft, multi-media, etc.)

  • ACMC exhibition programs: ACMC Gallery (Ukiah), Sculpture Gallery on the grounds of the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens (Fort Bragg), and featured artist profiles on ACMC’s website
