Lia Morsell

Lia Morsell started The Alleyway Art Project in Fort Bragg to bring public art to overlooked spaces in her town. The project connects local businesses and organizations with local artists to create murals inspired by local life, landscape, culture, and history.

Lia and her husband Josh moved from the Bay Area to Fort Bragg in 2016 to be closer to Josh’s family, and to “escape” to a small town. She has not regretted that decision in the slightest.

In 2018 she and her business partner Scarlett Trillia founded The Red House Co-working Space. It has quickly become an essential business support and networking hub for freelancers, creatives, and independent contractors on the coast. It is an oasis of super fast wifi in the technological desert of our sleepy rural town. Lia is also a jewelry designer and GIA certified gemologist. She and Josh have a charming little boy named Henry.
