Californians for the Arts, the Association of California Symphony Orchestras, California Presenters and the California Association of Museums, are co-hosting the statewide media campaign. We mobilized our efforts as we need to raise awareness about the dire needs of our sector, including the call to reopen arts safely with state-issued guidelines and how the arts can be a part of the solution to California’s recovery and to maintaining our collective mental health as we continue to live through the pandemic.

HEALTH AGENCY INFORMATION AND RESPONSE

New COVID-19 Testing Opportunities in Mendocino County

New COVID-19 testing opportunities through OptumServe in Fort Bragg, Point Arena and Anderson Valley. Please go online to https://www.lhi.care/covidtesting and register as a patient prior to arrival. By registering you will be issued a patient ID number, which you will need to bring with you to the location. Note: no appointments required, but registering (creating your account) prior to arrival will streamline the testing process.”

These tests are available for people who are asymptomatic. Surveillance testing helps our hospitals and decision makers stay informed so they can respond appropriately to the true rate of spread. Even with a negative test result, please remember to continue to wear your mask, sanitize, isolate if you feel unwell, avoid gatherings, and when you choose to socialize with people outside of your stable household bubble, do so outdoors or in ventilated areas where all are masked and distanced.
