Ukiah Symphony Presents: Concerto! Concerto!

Presented by Ukiah Symphony at Mendocino College Center Theatre

The Ukiah Symphony under the direction of Les Pfutzenreuter presents, “Concerto, Concerto!” on January 27, 8pm and January 28, 3pm at the Mendocino College Center Theatre. Elizabeth MacDougall, will be the featured piano soloist and will perform Joseph Nemeth’s Piano Concerto in f minor; Trumpeter, Landon Gray, will perform Alexander Arutiunian’s Trumpet Concerto in A-flat Major; Two French horn players will be featured in Vivaldi’s Concerto for 2 Horns and Strings. The orchestra will also perform four scary tone poems: In the Hall of the Mountain King (Grieg), Danse Macabre (Saint-Saens), Ride of the Valkyries (Wagner), and Night on Bald Mountain (Mussorgsky).

Admission Info

General seating is available at the Mendocino College Center Theatre, and it includes wheelchair access.

Tickets: $25 adults; $20 seniors (65 and above); free tickets are available at the door, beginning 30 minutes before the concert starts for students with an ASB card, those under 18, and any fire survivor who lost their home/apartment, business or a loved one in the October 2017 fires.

Tickets go on sale beginning 12/19 at the Mendocino Book Co. in Ukiah; Mail Center, Etc. in Cloverdale; and online at www.ukiahsymphony.org.
