Old Blind Dogs

Old Blind Dogs

Presented by Oak & Thorn at Eagles Hall

The amazing Scottish neo-traditional band that has been electrifying audiences all over the world, is returning to Eagles Hall in Fort Bragg on Friday the 29th of September!

Tickets are available online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3050632

Also available now at Out of This World in Mendocino, and soon at Harvest Market in Fort Bragg.

Their performance in March 2016 was hailed by many as the best Oak & Thorn concert yet, and I had to agree – it was an amazing night, the band was on fire, and the audience was ecstatic.  We are super-happy to get them back!

This year their original fiddler, Jonny Hardie, will be back with them, and they have released a new CD with some exquisite playing and singing.  I think it is their best in years. Their sound is distinctive and original, combining rhythms and melodies from several cultures (Afro-Carribbean, Breton, Asturian, etc), yet unmistakably Scottish.
