On Saturday, August 12^th at 1:00pm the Mendocino County Library, Ukiah Branch is hosting the Kid’s Summer Reading Finale Party.

Join us for a build-off of cube-like proportions! We’ll provide the boxes, you bring the imagination. Design and decorate your own cardboard rockets, cars, armor, dragons, or whatever else you can dream up. Kids can also bring their summer reading logs to claim their prizes. We will have delicious all-natural fruit “paletas” (popsicles) for a cool afternoon treat, provided by La Buena Michoacana. Finally, stick around for a showing of movie The Boxtrolls! This event is free and family-friendly.
