On June 1^st from 3:30pm-7pm the Mendocino County Library, Ukiah Branch is hosting a Superhero Training Day.

With movies of our favorite Amazonian superheroine and Underwear-wearing superhero coming out in theatres on Friday June 2^nd, you’ll need to get your own superhero skills ready. Fortunately, your sidekicks at the library are here to help!

Create your own secret superhero information dossier, make a cape fit for a certain super-crusader, and exercise your super-hearing with a game or two of Bingo! Finally, wind down from the rigorous afternoon with a movie screening of the coolest crime-fighting super-family, “The Incredibles”! Movie runtime is 1 hour, 55 minutes and is rated PG.

Space is limited! Visit the library to sign up or call 707-463-4490 to save a spot. Cape-making is recommended for ages 7 and up. This event is family-friendly, free to the public and sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.
