Come kick off the Year of the Rooster with the Ukiah Library and local author Natasha Yim! Natasha will read her book Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas and tell other timeless stories and folktales from China.

Students from Instilling Goodness Elementary and Developing Virtue schools will amaze with traditional Chinese dances. Attendees will have a chance to learn the beautiful art of Chinese calligraphy and make their own Chinese lanterns to celebrate the new year. Don’t forget to try an almond cookie! Natasha’s books will be available for sale at the library through Mendocino Book Company.
