Virtuoso pianist Kacey Link will present a program featuring exciting classic and contemporary tango pieces, Link’s engaging playing will take you on a journey to the heart of Buenos Aires, the birthplace of the tango. Kacey Link is a pianist, author, and educator residing in Los Angeles. She is the co-author of Tracing Tangueros: Argentine Tango Instrumental Music (Oxford, 2016) a book that explores the evolution of tango music from its early roots to the present day. She is also a co-editor and contributor to The Cambridge Companion to Tango (forthcoming 2024), a comprehensive volume that examines the music, dance, poetry, and culture of tango.
