A new move to Mendocino and a gallery space to call my own.
I picked up my first 35 mm camera in 1969. Although my cameras and technology have changed from the days of developing filmĀ in total darkness and printing under red lights to printing from a keyboard, my method remains the same – concentrate on what has caught my attention, position it in my frame, snap the shutter (sometimes walking away when the frame and my first vision do not match.
In L.A. Hyder Gallery, I am celebrating and exhibiting work from my 48 years in photography, throughout this month. This exhibition includes my b&w and color film work and digital images, in classic to abstract styles, and from local to international sites.
I will be joined in December by artists to be announced later this month.
The Gallery is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, November 25, & Saturday, November 26, the gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There is no admission fee.
The art is priced for all pockets.
