“A Christmas Carol”, the Charles Dickens classic of a miser transformed, will be presented in a stage adaptation at Willits Community Theatre. Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas appear, along with Tiny Tim in a family suitable production.
Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas are coming to the Willits Community Theatre in a stage adaptation of “A Christmas Carol”, the classic Charles Dickens tale of personal transformation.
Visiting Director Dawn Jacobs leads an all-star cast in presenting this holiday tale about the greedy, curmudgeonly miser who ends up realizing the worth of his fellow human beings and gaining the true joy of living. Starring in the WCT production are Rod Grainger, Dave Watts, Randa Craighead, Christopher Martin, Mike A’Dair, Sylvia Wartell, Robert Ford, Soren Pinelli, Kathy De Bane, Amarah Potter, and Spencer Copperfield. The eleven actors play a total of 40 different roles. The mood of the scenes shifts back and forth from dark and spooky to holiday laughter and back again. Along the way, the action conveys how a closed-off, self-absorbed man whose only God is money ultimately finds redemption and ends up doing significant good with his wealth.
