Spring is upon us, and with it once again comes the Ukiahaiku Festival, celebrating its 21st year. The Fest takes place on Sunday, May 7 from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Wild Gardens on the grounds of the Grace Hudson Museum.
The event will include all things haiku–traditional Asian music; a brief presentation on the haiku form; winning haiku from past festivals; haiku-inspired arts and crafts; and the opportunity to share your own haiku.
The Uketones will play a lively set of ukulele tunes during intermission. Refreshments will be provided.
The Ukiahaiku committee and all haiku lovers look forward to seeing you at the Festival, and listening to your original haiku.
