Native Learning Symposium is funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with representatives from a number of tribes in the district.
Mendocino College is organizing a speaker series featuring local Native American experts, elders, and educators.
The events of this Native Learning Symposium are designed to educate about the history, culture, and political organization of the tribes in the Mendocino-Lake Community College District so that we can better serve our native students. The monthly Friday afternoon workshops have different topic each month.
For all the details and to sign up go to Mendocino College’s Native Learning Symposium.
