Mendocino Film Festival presents the second film in our new Indie Film Series in Fort Bragg, After Yang. The film will play at Coast Cinemas on Feb. 2nd at 7pm.

Starring Colin Farrel, After Yang follows a family in the near future. Farrel plays Jake, a man who’s young daughter’s beloved companion, an android named Yang, malfunctions, Jake searches for a way to repair it. In the process, Jake discovers the life that has been passing before him as he reconnects with his wife and daughter.

This film is tender and melancholic with fantastic performances by Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Haley Lu Richardson and Justin H. Min, and beautiful direction and cinematography by Kogonada and Benjamin Loeb.
