Mendocino Art Center’s talented new group of Artists in Residence (AIR) will talk about their art, show recent work and open their art studios to the public. Free to the public.

The 2022-23 Artists in Residence who will be presenting are Collyn Ahrens, ceramics; Katie Applebaum, ceramics; SULO BEE, interdisciplinary metalsmith; Nicolaus Chaffin, multidisciplinary; Winchi De Jesus, interdisciplinary; and Nick Kakavas, ceramics.
The AIR program provides an inspirational and supportive environment that fuels and encourages artistic growth in the visual arts to artists interested in furthering their practice, bringing both emerging and established artists from all over the country to live on the Mendocino Art Center campus and work in the MAC studios. An exhibit of AIRs artwork created during their residencies will be held in April.
