The Willits Center for the Arts Holiday Craft Fair 2022 will be December 9-10: Hours Friday 12 noon to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm

This is the 35th annual fair and it is one of the few Fine Art and Craft shows in inland Mendocino County with over 35 fine artists and artisans offering unique gifts and work including soaps, ceramics, jewelry, cutting boards, knives, herbal gifts and so much more. The Craft Fair coincides with the opening of the Small Works show in the main gallery of the Willits Center for the Arts on November 25, featuring 35 additional artists with artwork in all media including gift cards.  The fair provides free live entertainment throughout the show and food available for purchase. The Fair is December 9th and 10th. The hours are Friday noon to 7, Saturday 10 to 4. Admission is free.

WCA will also have free arts and crafts family fun with Winter Wonderland activities facilitated by artists including Build a Snowman in the back garden and Make and Take Clay Holiday Ornaments with Sofia and Make and Take Cards with Lisa. VA 58 has generously sponsored these activities and will provide covid information resources.

The annual Members Small Works Show reaches out to the community to display art and gift-giving diversity.  Members join in and we see everything from Bobbie Yokum’s popular stamp art to hand-made ornaments by Suzanne Sandhamwich.  Daphne Gillian will be displaying her whimsical ceramics and Laura Corben will be offering her sensitive watercolors to the show.  There are too many talented people in our town to mention all members participating in the show. Come by the Art Center to see the show and find one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and loved ones.

The show opens on Friday, November 25th, from 9 am until 5 pm.  A chance to meet the artists will be held the following evening, Saturday the 26th between 6 pm and 9 pm.  There will be special extended hours to coincide with the 35th Annual Craft Fair December 9 and 10.

Regular gallery hours are weekends between 11 am and 5 pm.

WCA is located at 71 East Commercial Street right next door to the Noyo Theater. The Craft Fair will also be at 111 East Commercial at City Hall across the street.
