The 2022 Art in the Redwoods Festival takes place August 18-21, at the beautiful Gualala Arts Center and grounds, a 15,000-square-foot fine and performing arts center located in the coastal redwoods and home to the festival since its opening in 1998.

The festival features a host of events and activities, attracting vendors and artists from throughout Northern California along with hundreds of visitors, both local and from afar.

At the heart of the festival is the Fine Arts Exhibit, our largest exhibit of the year. It takes two weeks of preparation to hang and place all the items, which are judged the night of the Champagne Preview on Thursday evening.

Purchase your raffle ticket for the PPQG’s 2022 AIR Quilt Raffle. The quilt is titled “The Colors of My World”, and tickets can be purchased at Gualala Arts’ front desk. Tickets are $5 each, or 3 for $10, or 7 for $20. Proceeds benefits the Gualala Arts Student Scholarships. Stop by Gualala Arts and see the quilt.Then pick up a few tickets.

This year, Boxed Hat Dinner $150, Thursday August 18 4-7pm (includes a donation letter for $100) 4 course dinner lovingly prepared for you and boxed up to enjoy at home.  First time to view and purchase art.

The Champagne Preview $25, Friday, August 19, 4 to 6 pm, Includes complimentary Champagne, sparkling water or beer and offers the public its first chance to view the festival’s winning entries, another opportunity to purchase art before the general public at the festival weekend.

The full Art in the Redwoods Festival hits its stride Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21 10-4pm each day.   Opening at 10 am, with 30-plus vendor booths, community and interest groups, live music, storytelling, great local food and drink, and fun activities for all ages. Tickets will be available online for advance purchase. NEW THIS YEAR (in an effort to evenly spread out attendance for safety & distancing): 2 time slots are available 10-1pm & 1-4pm includes entry into festival, art exhibit, live entertainment for approximately 3 hours, food & drink sold separately.
