Gurdon Miller Fine Art Acrylic Painter
Reception: Friday, March 4, from 5 – 8pm
Edgewater Gallery, 356 North Main Street, Fort Bragg
In his own words:
“I have drawn and painted for as long as I can remember.
I’m not trying to tell stories. I want my work to elicit an immediate emotional response.
In college, I focused on art and geography.
The painters, Erle Loran, Pat Tidd and Alfred Leslie, taught me what art is worthwhile. The
geographers, Herb Eder, Clarence Glacken and Paul Wheatley, helped me understand that the
earth is becoming a world-wide megapolis, enclosing only enough rural landscape as may be
thought necessary for human susvival.
Please join us as we celebrate the work of Gurdon Miller on the First Friday of March. At 6pm,
Gurdon will do a brief presentation about his paintings. Masks are required.
Admission is free.
