In conjunction with the Book Arts Mendocino Fair—BAM!— being held this January and February, 2022:

The Mendocino Calligraphy Study Group, which meets weekly at Pacific Textile Arts, announces an exhibition of their work during the month of February, at Pacific Textile Arts. An opening event will be held all day Saturday, February 5, from 10 am to 5 pm, featuring on-going calligraphy demonstrations throughout the day.

Artists:  Adrienne Ardito, Sarah Boone, Judy Detrick, Jakob Hewko, Erik Henrikson, Bob Ross, Larry Thomas, Linda Turner, Harry Van Ornum & John Ward.

Subsequent Saturdays PTArts will also be open for viewing. Otherwise, the gallery is open on Wednesdays, 10:30-noon, and Thursdays 1:30-3:30.

Though viewing times are limited, appointments can be arranged  with jdetrick@mcn.org to view this stunning exhibition of calligraphers who make use of a wide variety of tools, media, techniques, and ideas.

All of the calligraphers are vaccinated, and ask that you please wear a mask while visiting the gallery, and observe social distancing.
