Alive and Well - Surviving the Pandemic by Making Textile Art

Alive and Well - Surviving the Pandemic by Making Textile Art"

Presented by Pacific Textile Arts at Pacific Textile Arts

The Board of Pacific Textile Arts, in the interest of community health, has decided to cancel the in-person opening of the “Alive and Well” exhibit/sale on First Friday, Jan. 7. The show will still be displayed in the Gallery and can be seen on Wednesdays, 10:30-12, Thursdays, 1:30-3:30, and Saturdays 11-1:00.  A private showing can be arranged as well, by calling 707-409-6811.

The show will also be photographed and posted on the website as a virtual event: pacifictextilearts.org.

The months of pandemic restrictions on social gatherings and normal activities have allowed time to indulge in creativity that might not have been available if life had not been interrupted.  After nearly two years (and counting) of Covid, PTArts is ready to celebrate that we are “Alive & Well” and to showcase the textile work produced by our members since March 2020.

Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask so we can all continue to be Alive & Well.
