Each winter the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens transforms into a spectacular show of glittering color. The 11th annual Festival of Lights will run rain or shine each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening from November 26 through December 19. Tickets are $10 each, children age 16 and under attend for free. Advanced tickets are required to attend Festival of Lights this year. The timed tickets will help us manage flow in the parking lot (limited parking and no shuttle) and within the Gardens.
Dress for winter weather, the event will run rain or shine! Parking is free but limited, please plan to carpool. Electric mobility scooters will not be available for rent during the event. Dogs are not allowed at the Festival of Lights. Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is well-known for its pet-friendly nature. However, during this special event, we ask that you please keep your pets (service animals excluded) at home or arrange for doggy daycare. No outside food or beverages. No smoking anywhere in the Gardens. Please stay on the lighted pathways. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Tickets are limited and only available for purchase online. Available ticket times include 5PM, 6PM, or 7PM each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 26 through December 19.
The event will run rain or shine. All tickets are non-refundable. General admission guest passes are not allowed for entry; an event ticket must be purchased as this is a fundraiser for the Gardens. Proceeds directly benefit our non-profit botanical garden and its mission is to engage and enrich lives by displaying and conserving plants in harmony with our Northern California coastal ecosystems and to preserve public access to the coast.
