Meet the artists who created these extraordinary quilt squares depicting 26 of Mendocino’s most iconic buildings. Find out how these talented women overcame the challenges of rendering 2D photos into 3D quilts. The quilt squares are available for purchase as part of a fundraiser for the Kelley House Museum. The Ocean Wave Quilters is a 70+ member guild that meets monthly and contributes to the community in myriad ways, including quilts for newborns, dresses for Hope for Women International, touch quilts for patients, and masks during the pandemic.
