In her own words: “In addition to making jewelry from sterling silver flatware, I’m creating pendants and earrings from precious metal clay. At 1560 degrees Fahrenheit, the clay-like additives burn off in the kiln, leaving the resulting .999 fine silver (sterling silver is .925 in the US). Having spent 9 years working with porcelain to create indoor water fountains, wall hangings and mosaics, I feel very comfortable working with precious metal clay.
