“Gualala Arts Winter Wonderland” runs from November 24 – December 30. This is a holiday retail shopping experience, featuring locally made fine arts & crafts, trees,  silent auction, holiday music, Santa’s mail box, plus more holiday cheer being re-imagined!  Family fun, food, gifts, Santa and of course TREES!  Christmas Tree Competition: Come See The Trees!

The holidays return to the Arts Center again this year with Gualala Arts’ Winter Wonderland, opening Monday, November 24 and continuing daily (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) through Wednesday, December 30, from 11 am to 4 pm.  It’s a Kick-off to the Holiday Season on the Mendonoma Coast. Admission is free.

Music will fill the halls while you shop in a wonderfully decorated arts & crafts holiday boutique of special hand made items from which to choose.

This holiday retail shopping experience will offer locally made fine arts & crafts: Leather Goods, Scarves, Pottery, Jewelry, Quilts, Fabrics, and Wrapping Supplies.

Visitors can purchase undecorated trees, and there is a Silent Auction of the decorated treesfrom the Christmas Tree Competition to take home.

Mrs. Claus will be working overtime to fill her Bake Shoppe with home-baked ginger-snap cookies. There will be two of Mrs. Claus’ favorite pies: Apple and Pumpkin. She’ll package all to take home, and these will be a great addition to the holiday weekend dessert tables when family and friends abound! You can also purchase a variety of Sees Candies.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will have their special mailbox to accept childrens’ letters to Santa with their wants and wishes throughout the Winter Wonderland! It’s cheerful good fun for the family that puts everyone in the holiday mood!

Adding to the holiday spirit is the Christmas Tree Competition, a favorite tradition and fundraiser for Gualala Arts. A variety of trees—different shapes and sizes—were  taken home and decorated. They will be returned to the Arts Center and placed on display as part of the Winter Wonderland. In turn, the decorated trees will be available for purchase by members of the community to help with Gualala Arts’ holiday fundraising.
