BAKU: A Live-Streamed Concert at Gualala Arts

Presented by Gualala Arts at Online/Virtual Space

BAKU is the popular Mendonoman World-Fusion ensemble. On Sunday, September 27, BAKU will be performing a special Global Harmony Online!-only concert, streamed live from the Amphitheater adjacent to the Art Center in Gualala. No in-person audience, no tickets, just great music. The band will showcase its distinctive, captivating and self-styled musical hybrid, ”Jambient Soundscapes,” a fusion of jazz and Afro beat, drawing upon Cuban, Latin, Middle Eastern and other cultural influences and rhythms.

Everyone is invited to “attend”—from home—this online concert live-streamed from GualalaArts.org. And while you’re listening, why not make a donation to Gualala Arts?

The talented members of BAKU are Harrison Goldberg, saxophones, percussion and Aerophone wind synthesizer, Chris Doering, 7-string guitar and synthesizer, Tim Mueller, 6-string guitar and guitar synthesizer, David French, upright bass and percussion and Nancy Feehan, cajon and percussion. Fans know that each performance becomes both an opportunity for and a celebration of discovery as BAKU takes their audience on an unpredictable and unforgettable musical journey. BAKU’s most recent recording is “BAKU: Live at Sea Ranch Lodge”. The album contains 10 tracks and listeners will be readily transported.
