Northcoast Artists Gallery is pleased to present their September show, featuring the work of gallery member, Mariko Irie.
Mariko Irie, a lifelong painter, received her BFA at Musashino Art University in Tokyo in 1973, then studied print making with Robert Rhoades and realism painting with Bill Martin, both at College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg. She has been in numerous solo and group shows, receiving prizes including being selected for the “California Contemporary Art Collection 2017-2018” in Sacramento, and the best award for “Outstanding Visual Artists” at Museum of the Living Artist in San Diego in 2011. Mariko’s paintings are widely represented in collections both public and private throughout the United States, Canada, England, Germany and Japan. She is represented by the Northcoast Artists Gallery in Fort Bragg and the Highlight Gallery in Mendocino. Her extensive website can be viewed at www.mariko-irie.com
