We invite you to join us for the second in a series of COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS on Saturday, July 25th at 3pmvia Zoom.
Building on our previous conversation (notes can be found HERE) — and with the idea that theatre is the perfect medium to educate, inspire and encourage us to take risks and to represent diverse voices in storytelling — we will be discussing the following question:
What would a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion look like in the Mendocino Theatre Company?
It is our sincere hope to have a multi-generational and multi-cultural group of community members engaging in conversation with a willingness to follow these guidelines:
We each speak for ourselves.
We listen actively.
We respond within the given time limit.
Our conversation will be moderated by windflower Townley, who has worked as a facilitator and mediator for over 40 years. She has facilitated many community conversations around diversity and inclusivity, and we are pleased to have her expertise and insight.
Many thanks,
