The Mendocino Art Center’s Artists in Residence (AIR) are hosting an online exhibition of their works, in lieu of an actual showing in the Art Center’s galleries, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The participating artists are exhibiting pieces primarily created during their residencies, and the works are for sale.
Mendocino Art Center’s annual Artists in Residence Exhibit features artwork this year by Myung Ahn, Karina Mago, Carey Nathanson, Lauren Stanford and Austyn Taylor. Additional AIRs may submit artwork during the dates of the online exhibition.
The AIR program brings both emerging and established artists from across the country to this unique northern California region, providing creative space for artists to expand and explore their craft, collaborate and create new bodies of work.
