· Arts Council of Mendocino County 309 East Perkins Street Redwood Valley artist Erika Makino puts the finishing touches on her carved cement sculpture of a dinosaur, titled “Emil.”A carved cement sculpture of a seated cat, “Sabinli,” is one of several pieces by Erika Makino appearing as part of a solo show, “88.” The show opens at the ArtsCouncil Gallery in the Ukiah Depot as part of the First Friday Art Walk on Friday December 2 from 5 to 8 p.m.

· City of Ukiah 300 Seminary Ave “Resources of the Soil” created by Benjamin Cunningham will be on display for all to see on that December First Friday art walk. The original Mural was hung with care in the old post office building and has just returned from the Parma Conservation from a full restoration/ cleaning. Come down to the City Of Ukiah at 300 Seminary Avenue to enjoy this large master piece.

· Community Foundation of Mendocino County 204 S Oak Street is hosting an open house for the formal opening of the newly-renovated Community Room and the official unveiling of artist Lauren Sinott’s amazing wall mural depicting the beauty and diversity of Mendocino County.
