In Kubrick’s dark satire, set in a dismal dystopian England, classical music-loving proto-punk Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his “Droogs” (friends) spend their nights embarking on “a little of the old ultraviolence,” assaulting people in the streets and in their homes.
