The Redwood Valley Outdoor Education Project’s International Wildlife Film Festival scheduled for the next two Friday evenings is being cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. The event was to take place at the Ukiah Civic Center at 7 pm on Friday, March 13th and 20th.

National and local health authorities have determined that social distancing reduces the risk of spreading or contracting this virus. To this end, we made the decision to err on the side of caution and forgo our fundraiser. We wish you all good health.

The International Wildlife Film Festival” Post Festival Tour will begin on Friday, February 21st at the Ukiah Civic Center, 300 Seminary Avenue. The series will continue at the same venue for four more Friday evenings ending on March 20th.

Participants are invited to enjoy live music and snacks starting at 6:15 PM with films beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available at the Mendocino Book Company and at the door for a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children. A series ticket for all five evenings is $45. All proceeds benefit the RVOEP. Most films are appropriate for older children, but parent discretion is recommended.

The Redwood Valley Outdoor Education Project (RVOEP) is a special program of the Ukiah Unified School District that provides outdoor environmental education field trips and classroom programs to over 2,000 students a year.
