Arena Theater is teaming up with Point Arena Third Thursday Poetry to offer the South Coast community and beyond a virtual Third Thursday Poetry reading event at 7pm on Thursday, July 16 on Zoom. This month features SF Poet Laureate Kim Shuck, with open mic to follow.

Kim Shuck describers herself as “very silly but is also the poet laureate of San Francisco, a National Laureate Fellow and just received the PEN Oakland censorship award. Like many cats, Shuck enjoys string, naps in the sunshine and watching insects. Kim averages 20 events a month in her duties as SF Laureate so the napping and bug watching is currently at a low ebb. Born and raised in San Francisco, she is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a mom of two full-grown men.”
