This is a very special night as the season winds to a close, featuring Grammy Award winner and local legend Paul McCandless, founding member of the seminal American jazz group Oregon. He’ll be performing with Paula Samonte, Ed Reihart, Val Warda, and Dawn Senften – all favorites here at RIVINO!

Known for his soaring lyricism and gorgeous compositions, McCandless plays soprano, tenor, and sopranino saxophones, oboes, English horn, bass clarinet, penny whistles, and a collection of folk flutes. As a leader, McCandless has released 30 records. He has Grammy awards for Best Pop Instrumental with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, and Best New Age Album with the Paul Winter Consort.
