One of Walt Disney’s finest live-action adventures, this 1954 film, starring James Mason and Kirk Douglas, brings Jules Verne’s classic sci-fi tale to vivid life, and features an awesome giant squid. Mason’s portrayal of Nemo, who’s taken to the sea as his refuge from the evils of mankind, is a hard-edged, standout, dramatic performance. Great entertainment for the whole family.
