Virginia Ray’s whimsically imaginative wall assemblages take on a deeper level of inventiveness this month as the featured artist at Northcoast Artists Gallery in Fort Bragg.

Virginia explains: “Come experience a lift in your mood by standing under my magical “Light Above” installation, suspended from a large skylight cradled by the high ceilings of the gallery.  I am also showing “Hair Piece”, a collection of locks of hair from friends and strangers, which I wore as ‘hair rings’ every day for a whole year. It hangs neatly in rows like a foreign language.” The “Grateful Series” is not to be missed, inspired by vintage graters and the idea of gratitude.
