The annual Art In The Redwoods festival began among the redwoods on Gualala ridge in 1961 and since then has grown to a weekend attraction for thousands. This popular four-day event features one of the largest fine arts exhibits in Northern California with hundreds of works entered, vendors and artisans from near and far, and free entertainment on stages throughout the Arts Center grounds and on stage in Coleman Hall.

On Friday, August 16, 2019, is the Champagne Preview. It is an opportunity to taste some champagne while previewing the vendors, viewing the fine art on display, and seeing the judge’s critiques. This year’s preview is Friday, August 16, 2019:

• Champagne served from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Preview vendors starting at 4:00 p.m.

• Fine Arts Exhibit Opens at 4:30 p.m.

• Judges’ Critiques: 6:15 p.m.
