Solo exhibition of Richard Weiss’ latest Optical Illusion paintings and Mona Lisa series.
Some will remember from the 2018 Art In The Redwoods Richard Weiss’ 3-Dimensional painting Tintin & The Case of The Purple Orb, winner of both Best of Show and Most Popular at (a first in the 57 year history of the juried show). Richard Weiss is back at the Gualala Arts Center in June with a solo exhibition of his interactive kinetic and 3 Dimensional paintings, as well as his complete Mona Lisa series.
The Art of Richard Weiss exhibitions are unique. Viewers become creators, designing their own experience of transforming an image into another. Enjoyed equally by visitors of all ages, they are mind puzzling. The overall experience of his exhibitions remains one of joyful playfulness. Opening Reception first Friday June 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.
